Want to write about issues in India?
We see unfair practices all walks of our life and want to talk about it with someone. You want to tell that to whole world. Here is your chance to say it loud so whole world can hear.
Write your story, including the names of the places and locations if you would like, or just write the story and stay anonymous. It’s all up to you at LoudIndain Blogs at http://www.loudindian.com.
Note: This is not a place to attack individuals, or use foul language. Please refrain from using bad language, or attacking individuals. All we are asking is that you use common sense, and don’t litter the space.

Walmart CSS issue!
See what a small mistake can do to your website.
Open up this WalMart webpage in Firefox: http://mediadownloads.walmart.com/mmce/jsp/storeHome.jsp and compare it with Internet Explorer.
The issue is with HTML tag that includes a CSS file on this page. The developer of this website did not set the "type" property correctly and that's how it failed in firefox.
I wonder how a company like WalMart can come out with a page like this. Don't they have QA department with their IT dept?
If they do have it, do they pay them minimum wage ;)

India, most polluted nation in the world?
I recently came across a news article that reports that one of the Indian city is the most polluted and it is hurting the ozone layer! How sad. The fast urbanization of the country is hurting the atmosphere big time.
There is absolutely no government control over the vehicles which are polluting the skies in India. It is a serious problem, not just for India but whole world. It's high time we address this serious issue.

live.com - long way to go!
Did anybody try live.com lately? It looks nice but they have a long way to go.
Microsoft is creating this to compete with yahoo and google better than what it did with MSN, but there are some fundamental issues with it and they better fix them if they really want to be in the race.
Try searching for "eBay in San Jose, CA" in all three local searches(local.live.com, local.yahoo.com and local.google.com). Out of these 3 - yahoo and google give you exact details i.e., the first result is eBay headquarters in San Jose.
But look at local.live.com, it gives me following 3 results.
1. V A Shinebay Enterprises Incorporated.
2. Travinfo Transit and Travel Informati On for The Bay Area.
3. Rotacare Bay Area Information.
Now, you(perhaps somebody from Microsoft?) tell me how these are anyway related to keyword "eBay"? Certainly not the keyword itself (except partial match for #1), and no way related to business. I even remember seeing "eBay carwash" in the past for the same search! What a joke.
I have tried using live.com but these kinda issues are forcing me to leave it! Sorry Microsoft.
On the other hand, i found ask.com a lot better than all of these. I am using ask.com more and more these days, it is better and going to get a lot better soon i bet. All big guns, you better watch out...
